Monthly Meetings ~ Programs

 We are setting up speakers and programs for our upcoming year.  Please check back to learn more about our upcoming year!

Regular monthly meetings will resume on September 5, 2024. All meetings will be held on the 1st Thursday at Wellspring United Methodist Church, 6200 Williams Drive, Georgetown. unless otherwise noted.

Newcomers will follow the GISD policy for school cancellations and late starts.  If GISD schools are cancelled, the Newcomers meeting will be cancelled.  If the GISD schools are on a late start, we will have our meeting at 10 AM.

Instead of receiving an honorarium, guest speakers choose a charity or nonprofit for our group to give to.  Last year, Newcomers made donations to Friends of the Georgetown Library, Blue Santa, Living Grace Canine Ranch, Georgetown Library, Preservation Georgetown, Lady Bird Wildflower Center and We Are Not Broken.
