1. How do I log in to the website?
- From the main menu, go to Members Only and select Login. Your About tab will open. This is where you can update your account information. From there, access any of the features that are available on the Members Only menu. If you make any changes to the About, Profile or Family tabs, be sure to click “Save & Continue” at the bottom of the page to save changes before changing tabs or screens.
2. How do I change my password?
- The option to change your password is found on the About tab. It’s located just below the Neighborhood box. Click Change, then type your new password in the space provided. Click “Save & Continue” at the bottom of the page, or your new password will not be saved.
3. How do I add a profile picture to my account?
- Go to Manage Account. Click the Profile tab. Follow the instructions in the Manage Directory Entry section to upload your photo. Click “Save & Continue” at the bottom of the page, or your new photo will not be saved.
4. How do I know when it’s time to pay my dues?
- Dues cover your membership for one year. You will receive an email reminder 30 days before it’s time to renew, and will receive scheduled reminders as needed. You have 30 days past your due date to renew. To view your membership renewal date, go to the About tab and scroll down to the Annual Membership section. Your membership expiration date is displayed.
- Note: On your About tab, there is a link to pay your dues. This is NOT REQUIRED to set up your account, but merely offers you an option to renew early. Early renewal does not change your future renewal date.
5. How do I join a SIG?
- Navigate to the Members Only area and click Special Interest Groups (SIGs). All the open SIGs are displayed on that page. Follow the instructions on the page. You’ll receive an email confirmation of each SIG you join. The lead of your SIG also receives a notification of your enrollment.
- Note: All of your current SIG memberships are already in the database, so there is no need to join again. If you want to join a new activity, please "Add" as many as you like. This page only displays SIGs that have openings. If a group is full, you won't see it here.
6. How can I find a list of all the SIGs I belong to?
- Go to the Member Directory.
- Search & find your name.
- Click your profile.
- All your SIGs are shown there. If you're a lead, you will have two labels - one for the group & one designating you as the lead.
- Repeat for any other members.
7. Can I get a list of the members of my SIG?
- In the Member Directory, select Search by Category, then click the name of your SIG. Subs and Waitlists are shown separately. Only members who have opted into the directory will be displayed. If you are a lead, and you would like to verify your roster, contact the SIG Coordinator at here.
8. What if I want to leave a SIG?
- There is no online option to remove yourself from a SIG. You will need to advise the lead of your group via email, or contact the SIG Coordinator here.
9. How can I find a list of all the SIGs?
Note: If a SIG does not appear on the Special Interest Group page, then it is full.

10. How can I get a .pdf copy of the Member Directory?
- Click here for the Member Directory. You can save this to your computer and print a hard copy.
- NOTE: Some members have opted not to be included in the Member Directory.
11. How do I change my email address?
- Method 1: Log into your Newcomers’ account & update your email address on the About tab that opens when you log in. Click “Save & Continue” at the bottom of the page to save changes before changing tabs or screens.
- Method 2: Scroll up and locate the Members Only menu, and navigate to Manage Account. Click “Save & Continue” at the bottom of the page to save changes before changing tabs or screens.
12. Does changing my email affect my login?
- Yes, it does. Your updated email address automatically becomes your new username for logging into your Newcomers’ account.
- NOTE: It is not necessary to change your password.
